Biden’s order calls schools to allow transgender athletes participate in sport of their gender identity

President Biden, in his first day at the office, issued an executive order favoring transgender athletes seeking to participate as their identified gender in high school and college sports.
Biden’s executive order calls schools to allow transgender athletes to participate in the sport of their gender identity.

"Children should be able to learn without worrying about whether they will be denied access to the restroom, the locker room, or school sports," the order read.
The majority of parents, regardless of political ideology, oppose having their child share locker rooms with the opposite biological sex, an issue that for millennia in virtually every society in the history of mankind would oppose. Many parents who do not prefer it are silent as cancel culture and speech codes have ushered in silence to replace free speech.Biden who has held office for fifty years has never brought up legislation like this before; he is clearly bowing to pressure from the far left who have silenced, cancelled, and verbally assaulted even their own. Liberal author J.K. Rowling's life was threatened and cancelled as a 'hater' for simply stating, "If sex isn’t real, the lived reality of women globally is erased."
Biden called the federal agencies to enforce last year’s Supreme Court decision, which broadened the sex discrimination definition to include discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity.
A president calling for federal agencies to enforce a Supreme Court decision should not be controversial.Yet polling indicates that it is controversial. History, culture, and time immemorial necessarily declares it to be controversial. The Democrats who champion the feminist cause declare it to be controversial. Clear teachings from all major religions for thousands of years and for whom many still believe today declare it to be controversial. The Supreme Court decision itself was controversial. The question is rather, why this would not be considered controversial?
Specifically, Biden’s order states that last year’s Bostock v Clayton court ruling should apply to Title IX, which is a federal law prohibiting discrimination in federally funded schools.

Biden’s order mandates that agencies must enforce this rule within 100 days of 20 January.

Further, Biden’s order also calls for equal treatment "regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation" in the workplace and in health care settings".
Again: This should not be considered controversial. The fact that it is speaks to just how corrosive grievance politics have been on our discourse.
Transgender athletes in schools was a crucial topic last year.
17 states came up with bills restricting athletes’ participation in sports to their gender assigned at birth. The controversy has internally erupted within the left as many feminists argue allowing transgender athletes to compete in women's sports undermines the very foundations of feminism. Democratic Representative Tulsi Gabbard introduced legislation to prohibit such allowances: "It is critical that the legacy of Title IX continues to ensure women and girls in sports have the opportunity to compete and excel on a level playing field."
