Alleged email show Hunter Biden introduced Ukrainian businessman to VP dad; Biden campaign deny claims

As per the emails obtained by The Post, Hunter Biden introduced Joe Biden, who was the vice president at the time, to a top executive at a Ukrainian energy firm. As per the report, this happened a year before Joe Biden pressured Ukrainian government officials to fire a prosecutor investigating the company.

Ø  This mail allegedly from Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the board of Burisma, is sent to Hunter Biden on April 17, 2015, or a year after Hunter joined the Burisma board.

Ø  “Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,” the email says.

Ø  This email if true contradicts Joe Biden’s claim that he has “never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.”

Ø  The email has been recovered from a laptop, which was given for repair in Biden’s home state of Delaware in April 2019.

Ø  The content in the laptop also included a video 12-minute video, which the Post says appears to show Hunter smoking crack and having sex with an unidentified woman.

Ø  Owner of the repair shop doesn’t remember who brought the water-damaged MacBook Pro for repair, but the laptop had a sticker from the Beau Biden Foundation, the Post says.

Ø  Joe Biden's presidential campaign dismissed the claims. The paper “never asked the Biden campaign about the critical elements of this story...moreover, we have reviewed Joe Biden’s official schedules from the time and no meeting, s alleged by the New York Post, ever took place,” Biden’s spokesman Andrew Bates said.

Ø  The hard drive has some 40,000 emails, including thousands of texts, as well as images of Hunter 'in very compromising positions,' Rudy Giuliani’s lawyer Bob Costello told Fox News.

End Game

The Trumplicans must be feeling like it is Christmas come early.

But...slow down. Keep the receipt on this gift from the Post.

This story is already suspect given the players: it was generated by a computer repair shop owner who has called Trump's impeachment a "sham," the indicted-for-fraud Steve Bannon, and the conspiracist Rudy Guiliani. The legal principle of "fruit from a poisonous tree" very much applies.

The damaging information came off of a laptop left for repair at John Paul Mac Isaac's repair shop in Wilmington, Delaware. He doesn't remember who dropped it off, and as yet, there's no receipt indicating who did (an obvious red flag). No one picked up the computer, and Isaac has a few different stories about what happened next, including one where the FBI asked his help getting into the drive.

His versions all have issues...but the last? With massive technical resources, the FBI would not need Isaac's help with this investigation, despite his a store's catchy slogan of "We Fix Macs."

One of the emails supposedly shows that Joe Biden met with a Burisma executive to try and help the company that hired his son Hunter. No record of that meeting exists. However, the same month Giuliani found out about this convenient drive, he met with a Ukrainian named Andrii Derkach (confirmed). Derkach was recently sanctioned by the US Treasury Department, which called him an "active Russian agent for over a decade."

Even a small amount of critical thinking says, "let's wait on passing judgment."

But why this story, why now? The computer has supposedly been in play for over a year.

Trump is in a freefall. Nearly a quarter of a million people dead from a mishandled pandemic. Millions of Americans suffering economically. Even Trump's "achievement" of bringing back football is in trouble.

Get ready for the Trumplicans to throw a lot of excrement at the fan before the election. Duck, respond with measured tones, and VOTE.

Let others stand in front of the blast of air and open their mouths to cheer on their candidate.

""let's wait on passing judgment."

Uh huh. The same Left who never followed this rule themselves, who wanted to crucify Trump at every single step of the way, including judging him before he even got into office, and before the Mueller investigation completed.

It's funny how this rule only seems to apply to Democrats (they've said this now multiple times for Biden, including now, including back when Tara Reade accused him of sexually assaulting her, for which #metoo abandoned her on, including Biden's sketchy record on race and crime bills, which both Kamala and others criticized him for, until they said they didn't mean it! "it was just a debate", etc.).

The left are the experts at diversion in these cases... To them, it doesn't matter that there are pictures of hunter on the laptop, emails concerning Hunter's relationship with the Ukraine and "my guy" (his apparent code word for his dad, then Vice President), or the fact the the Biden campaign just acknowledged that yes, Biden may have met the person he said he didn't meet, here on US soil no less. None of that matters. It could have any smoking gun evidence and still the Democrats would complain about everything else *except* that very evidence... e.g. who is the shop owner, is he a Trump supporter, did he know Rudy, etc etc.

The "where there's smoke there is fire" never seems to apply to the evidence just the sources. Yet when it comes to Trump, the opposite is always the case: it's the evidence, never the sources, i.e. who cares if Steele says he can't attest to the accuracy in his dossier, who cares if the Atlantic posts alleged quotes from Trump by anonymous sources, etc., by a Trump hating editor. How the Left can sit with a straight face while being so completely hypocritical is the stuff of legend right now. It's a good thing those Anthony weiner emails and texts were not found by the same shop owner, or we too might have heard "let's reserve judgements" .

Rank hypocrisy by the left... What's new?

Hypocrites. They're all hypocrites.

Remember when President Trump was impeached for having a phone call with the president of Ukraine? Of course you do; it was wall-to-wall converge. Was Trump colluding with President Zelensky to gain the upper hand in the presidential election? What financial ties did Trump have with Ukraine? What financial ties does Trump have with Putin? Ahhh! Trump wants to build a tower in Moscow; he must be an undercover KBG agent!

Ah, good times.

Seriously, though, why isn’t the mainstream media covering Joe and Hunter Biden like they cover Trump? Easy: they want to see Joe Biden elected. They don’t want to see Joe Biden’s reputation as good ol’ Uncle Joe be tarnished by crack-smoking Hunter and his sordid past.

The image of Joe Biden as an honest kid from Scranton, who is in politics to make life better for the little guy, is a lie and a falsehood. In September of 2019, Joe Biden said that he had “never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.” This has now been entirely disproven by emails sent by a Burisma executive to Hunter Biden in April of 2015 thanking him for “inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together.”

Keep in mind, the meeting between Joe, Hunter, and the Burisma exec is about a year after Hunter joined Burisma—a Ukrainian natural gas company—as a board member despite having no prior experience in natural gas and being asked “how you [Hunter] could use your influence.”

Eight months after the DC meeting, Joe Biden, as vice president, threatened to withhold $1 billion in US loan guarantees from Ukraine unless the Prosecutor General, Viktor Shokin—who was investigating Burisma—was fired. On video, Biden is seeing gloating about his apparent success, “Well, son of a b*tch. He got fired.”

On the laptop that contained the emails between Hunter and Burisma, were explicit videos and images, including a video of Hunter smoking crack while engaging in lewd activities.

Imagine for a second if the name Joe Biden was replaced with Donald Trump, and the name Hunter Biden replaced with Don, Jr. Just imagine the chaos on CNN and MSNBC. Nancy Pelosi would move to impeach the president so fast her dentures would fall out. Hypocrites, they’re all hypocrites.

While it is true that President Trump has received the ire of many media sources, no one in public service is exempt, regardless of which side of the political spectrum they are on. No one denies bias takes place in journalism, and I am dismayed at social media giants' attempts to censor this story. If it has no merit, let it fall on its own. Don't fall into a Leftwing version of Trump's war on the Press.

Granted, media giants are their own, and they are free to censor or not censor whatever information they want. Yet, there are those on the Left that wish for consistency, for what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Regardless, we're not holding our breath to expect the Right to give Biden and his campaign the benefit of the doubt they offer their prize fighter occupying the White House. That's the nature of politics. The media is involved, and so is corporate America, with dark money and propaganda spreading all around, Right AND Left.

So let's not rejoice over an alleged "smoking gun" that has yet to be verified. Don't take "alternative facts" Kellyanne Conway serious who tweeted that Biden lied about his overseas business dealings. There are lot of things suspect with the Post's story, and the Post has not been a reliable outlet a lot of the time. Sure, no one is perfect, but the Post's reporting accuracy has often been abysmal.

But lay aside the genetic fallacy for a moment, and still we can see a glaring amount of red flags. The anonymity, the use of images than could be easily altered and forged, the timing of the reporting right before the election. So take it with a grain of salt; the Right will see it as damning evidence, and in my opinion that is quite premature. But politics is as politics goes, and the Left has performed its good share of it as well.

My hope is that we let the process play out peacefully, and let the cards fall where they may.
