Formerly a secondary math and social studies teacher. Today, I operate a Transitional Housing Program with my husband for recently released incarcerated men. I am a tireless advocate for the voiceless. I'm a lifelong Democrat that believes an evidence-based approach to policy is best. My strongest belief is that a society is defined by how it treats its weakest member. Democracy dies when too many people stay silent. I will not stay silent.
